A special congrats and a big shout out to Sterling Vanderzee and Xueya Lu for wining first place in the student poster competition at the Mineral Exploration RoundUp 2019 conference for “Carbon Sequestration in Mine Waste” with co-authors Greg Dipple, Kate Carroll, Connor Turvey, Ian Power & Peter Bradshaw, AND to Brodie Stroh who won second place featuring “Protracted Monazite Growth in the Klondike Gold-District, Western Yukon” with co-authors Tyler Ambrose, Craig Hart and Murray Allan.
In addition to the cash prizes and bragging rights, the posters received a position of glory within the 
conference where they stood for all four conference days.
