The Sheahan-MDRU Literature Service

A targeted scientific literature service for mineral exploration geologists.

Tired of wasting hours making on-line searches through web browsers?
Be ahead of the curve, expose yourself to the latest geoscience information.

Monthly digital version of DIAMONDS or METALS newsletters

Take monthly delivery of a newsletter that contains a structured listing the latest scientific literature and technical resources that are relevant to mineral exploration, presentation by region and commodity. Each newsletter includes notification of scientific journals, special publications, conference proceedings, geological survey reports, society newsletters, industry magazines, academic research papers, digital resources and books, as well as up-to-date conference listing.

Online specialist DIAMONDS or METALS databases

The DIAMONDS database is the most comprehensive, publicly available database of its kind, containing over 60,000 references related to diamond exploration and mantle rocks dating back to the late 1800's. The METALS database contains over 40,000 references specific to gold, silver, PGE, copper, zinc and uranium exploration dating back to the early 1970's. Users can make multiple basic and Boolean keyword-searches.

Access to full-text hardcopies

Make a request and printed copies, in colour where suitable, will be mailed directly to you.

Technical literature review

Save your valuable time. We can compile technical reviews on your behalf and provide you with a summarized literature review, recommended reading list, and links to relevant digital resources.
